Areas of Research Interests/ Research Projects
My study interests include next-generation HPC solution targeting at better time-to-solution and energy-to-solution. In recent years, I have been focusing on designing novel solutions for resolving major challenges from important numerical applications such as climate modeling and exploration geophysics. The latest updates include using Sunway TaihuLight to achieve extremely large-scale simulation for numerical applications, and using reconfigurable system to achieve improvements in both the performance and the power efficiency.
