IETF Activities:
One of the acknowledged contributors to BGP standard (RFC 4271)
AIOps Algorithm Competition and OpenAIOps Community:
Founder and General Chair of “AIOps Challenge Algorithm Competition”, 2018/2019/2020/2021/2022/2023/2024/2025, an ImageNet-like annual algorithm competition for AIOps. On average, 220 teams participated every year. Number of audiences in the final competition: 600 per year. More than 1000 organizations have participated in the competitions by 2025.
Obtained and published IT operations datasets from companies including Baidu, Alibaba, Tencent, eBay, Sogou, Suning, China Mobile, China Construction Bank, China Minsheng Bank, ZTE. Dataset published in these algorithm competitions were used by papers published in top conferences and journals.
Editor-in-Chief of AIOps Newsletter “AIOps Frontier” on WeChat (Online, in Chinese) publishing articles explaining the latest AIOps papers. By March 2026, it has more than 23k subscribers and more than 662k reads.
Founded the CCF OpenAIOps community, featuring an integrated ecosystem of “datasets, models, courses, evaluation benchmark, testbed, and algorithm competitions,” which has attracted one million unique IP visits from over 100 countries worldwide.
