The annual M.S. enrollment into the Department of Computer Science and Technology is about 160 students. The annual M.E. enrollment is also about 160 students. Master’s level graduate students are admitted through three channels: students ranked high in the National Post-Graduate Entrance Examination (NPEE), senior undergraduate students from Tsinghua with NPEE waivers, and those from other universities with NPEE waivers. Table 1 shows the number of students enrolled each year. The duration of graduate study for master’s students is two to three years.
